Whole food Banana Bread

The perfect snack, dessert, or addition to a high protein breakfast.

This banana bread is made with all whole foods, no refined sugar, and no refined flour. Instead, in this recipe we use einkorn flour - a better digested, less processed, non-hybridized wheat.

Banana bread recipe:

  • 2-3 bananas

  • 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 stick of grass-fed butter melted

  • 2 pasture-raised eggs

  • cinnamon

  • celtic sea salt

  • maple syrup

  • 1 and 1/2 cup einkorn flour

  • optional: 1 scoop of grass-fed beef vanilla protein powder (I use Equip Prime Vanilla Protein) for extra protein

  • optional: blueberries, pecans, or granola

Mash the bananas in a bowl. The put in cream of tartar and baking soda and mix into the bananas. Let that sit for 2 minutes. Then, mix the rest of the ingredients with the banana mixture in the bowl. Put in an oven safe bread loaf pan, and bake on 350 for 35-40 minutes.
