HOMEMADE Bourbon VANILLA ICE CREAM

This homemade vanilla ice cream is so delicious, and guess what…it’s actually a superfood desert that counts as my little sweet treat. This ice cream recipe is so easy to make. I make my own vanilla extract for the recipe, which you can find on my recipes page. Here’s how to make:

What you need:

  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1 and 1/2 cups raw jersey milk

  • Homemade vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp celtic sea salt

  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup or more to taste

Combine all ingredients in a blender before hand, or just add all of the ingredients straight into the ice cream maker.

Top with cinnamon, berries, nuts, granola, anything you want.

Raw milk has so many benefits, especially because all of the digestive enzymes and probiotics are kept intact since the milk is not pasteurized. Maple syrup is a fantastic sugar and carb source with a low glycemic index. The perfect sweet treat or bedtime snack for those who have high morning cortisol patterns or blood sugar spikes during the night.
